Book: Vg+ 205pp, publisher's green cloth with silver stamped titles to the spine. Boards are very clean, the titles are bright and shiny, the lightest wear only to corners and spine tips, some foxing to the top edge of the text block. Foxing/toning to the endpapers otherwise the pages are very crisp and tightly bound.
Jacket: Vg. Stunning jacket illustration, front flap clipped but still showing printed price of 6s. The jacket has had some light restoration around the spine tips. Light rubbing/ chipping to hinge corners and edges.
*This UK edition is very elusive. First published by Arkham House in 1945, it was in fact their first full length novel to be published, an expanded version was later published by Centipede Press, US.
